Not particularly no.
All too often decent threads are ruined die to pointless, untimely comments which do nothing to add to the thread.
Hopefully when Steve and Ollie's bans are lifted they can keep the daftness to the Off Day forum.

Come to think of it now. The general chat forum is a lot better. i think i have posted once in off day.
It does change the way CS works and runs. Although i bet its quite hard for you mods to keep Off day under control
Steve.

Haven't read the whole thread, but yeah seems to be a better quality of post, even though the two banned people add a lil' humour to the site, the content has been alot 'friendlier' although I feel if the off day is to stay, it shouldn't be abused, but shouldn't be mod'd as intensly as gen chat.

No I agree on that point, they took it too far, and got there just deserts.
There is a good mod presence lately which is good, I just don't see the point in an off day forum being modded at the same level as gen chat though, as if people don't want to be involved in that sort of 'banter', they won't go in there.
It's a good option for people to have, especially the reg's, and no they shouldn't take the pi55 and hi jack threads etc etc....

Tom, i agree with what your saying, but, i came on last week (or the week before, ior whenever ) to find 2-3 posts slaggin me off big time, and i wasn't even online. Which is a bit out of order.
But im not just saying it cos of me cios im used to it , but just in case it happens to other people who dont wanna go in the forum. They could be getting slaged off without knowing it.
I think a moderator should be in charge of off day, but, that person should know when too far really is too far.
imo of course

I'm appointing a moderator from Off Day from the existing team and moving a new person in to the position that they vacate.
The roll of Off Day moderator isn't to delete crap as obviously we're a little more tolerant of it in there. I still want to offer coverage time-wise though, hence wanting a big-ish team on it.

I think GC is just as full of shit as it's ever been and Off Day's just given those of us that post shit more of a reason to post nothing in particular.
