Yeh sum d!ck never paid for something i sold for allot of money and i waited and kept on for 2 months then got my ebay fee back and relisted.

you pay a listing fee depending on the start price but usually only about £1. And ebay take 1% i do belive.

you have to give them a percentage, or a fixed cost, depending how much the item is you are selling.
