i did this on my post 97. sand the inside of the ridge with abbrasive paper p80 or p40. then put some bumper fill of fiberglass. then put a top coat of filler on and sand it down till smooth. if you want more info u2u me. kris td is my bro anyway and we did the same pics of mine:

yeh, I did this too! Bumper fill is great and works allot better than the filberglass crap!

i found bumper fill was alot better too, also flexes more with the bumper so less chance it will crack or pop out.

we only used one tube of bumper fill per bumper, then finnihsed it off with fibreglass, bumper fill is so bloody expensive it would cost you 15 quid per bumper to completely do it

get it from motorfactors, cant remember who makes it, its just caled bumper fill, comes in a tube.
