I got my corsa 3 years ago and never got a Log Book with it (private seller)! Sold my car about a month ago on Part ex and have had my current car for a month!
Just got an ans werfone message from the garage asking for the log book! if they mean the V5, then their should have it! If they mean the log book with service history, then not a chance! I ain't got one!

What can happen, they carn't do anything can they!? When I bought the car they didn't ask so I didn't say and when buying and selling a car you should never assume right?

U didnt get a log book? Was it brand new when u bought it?

I thought that the previous owner send off something and you have to sign it when purchassing it?

yeh, the V5, done that, he should of been sent it from the DVLA! I got mine back from the DVLA ages ago for the new car
