You won't get half a second off 0-60 with a lightened flywheel.

Correct but half a second is a fair ammount of time for something that only takes off 9kg and adds no power.

Yes its about 1350kg I think, but its nice to have a comfortable, solid, quiet car with soundproofing after the experience that was the rallye

YEsh, i do appreciate objective comments.

Been looking at alternatives, not much out there, Doesnt Look like Velos do any V6 tuning, Regals tuning products similar to courtneys but a million miles away, Courtenay is 20 min drive from me. They do a 3.0 transplant for £3.5k i think that will give an extra 30bhp and 40lb/ft torque but thats on top of a bog standard 2.5 V6, As i have the Gsi with different cams wont work out that great value by doing the transplant.

Still think i will go with the flywheel and LSD though, possible a new F23 box with shorter ratios too. These 3 should make a huge difference.

gearbox and flywheel yes but you wont need an lsd like vibrio says.1 it already has traction control so whats the point.should be better with a decent gearbox as the gsi does tend to go forever in each gear

Why not the traction control is gh4y, i am forever turning it off. Its a lot of torque going through a FWD car as well.

Find me something better to spend money on vibs, i aint having much luck here.

agreed a lsd is not needed at all for what ur planning

if uve got 4k then why not enquire about a supercharger conversion

also if u do go ahead with ur planned mods, get a b4 RR graph and a after one, just to see what gains u really got
