I run 10w60 Bardahl XTR Special Racing Oil (fully synthetic)
Because I rally rev the car hard, everytime
Vaux oil 10w40 is good for normal use, like most of the brands...
But not for extreme use, like almost all brands
Changing the oil frequently is the best maintenance procedure, never forget it

Ditto, 8k rev limit, on 1000mile intervals. but for std engine it's not required

SBD still use Vaux s/synth on their raised rev limit engines IIRC.

The oil gets destroyed. mobil one ios the best oil and only hold it's SAE rating till 1500miles. semi syn can't last as long. Many racing ppl will geive the engine a full service after/before ever race.

Mobil 1 is definitely not the best oil available
Read on www.synlube.com, amsoil.com, or redline site and compare...
The gets destroyed if continously worked at 150 deg celsius (oxidation)
that's why it should be changed frequently (there are other reasons)
I have used Castrol RS, Mobil 1, and other synthetics but they are inferior to the oils mentioned before
