my mum had hers a week ago, in arden blue. Problem now is there are none left brand new and the order banks have closed on them, therefore you can only get them sencond hand now so the prices are holding well.
i got them at our garage, 53 plate, approx 6k miles, for about £14,250

Astra GSI's are
Shame they are a bit understated , would have been nice if they would have made some bigger changes like with the MK3 GSI.
Though I still reckon the MK4 is a stunner.
Having said that my mate has a Seat Ibiza 1.8 20v Turbo (newer shape) and that thing is rapid and no bodyroll. (Has nice details all round too)
Just dont get the 1998 onwards Golf GTI. The 2.0 GTI does 0-60 in like 10.2 secs. Unbelievably slow cars considering the engine and the competition it faces.
