well i aint too arsed about the price it seems ok to me, just need to know if its loud, and will it "shake" the car.
i'll also spend quite abit on the front comps, about £150, and they will be amped too.

nope, i've got a 12" myself and u'd get a wider frequency response from the 12" than 10".
Anyway, u can filter out certain frequencies through the amp, and comes with a remote to boost it when u need to.

i hate dance music through 12" subs but that obviously just personal opinion. I went from a 10" Type R to a JL W3 12" and although the JL is a far superior sub i think dance sounds better through the 10".
Dont get me wrong i knew that would be the case and 95% of the time i listen to RnB and Hip Hop anyway. If i was going to b listening to dance most the time i would have 10" subs for sure

so corb whats the difference in L7's and L5's and will they both be loud when amped up right??
last sub i had was an audiobahn one, and it was 400rms and amped to 350rms. i thought that was fairly loud but want it alot louder and bassier.

The L7's were previously THE top of the line Kicker subs, but have since been overtaken by the SoloX series of subs, the 18" version has been available over here for a while now, and in the next couple of months, the 10" and 12" will be available, each rated at 2500RMS
L7's have higher power handling than L5's. And a square 8/10/12/15/18 has more cone surface area to move more air than a round 8/10/12/15/18 inch sub.

2500RMS is mad but the 18" version at 5000 RMS is just plain evil!
!!
U need serious amps for subs lik that,
