give the splitter a good clean with panel wipe, could be some silicon of the surface of splitter/polish etc, paint wont stick to these

if ya in a garage with heater, it will be fine, not ideal climate but it wont cause the paint to flake, i spray in my garage all the time, only small stuff and the results i get are as good as you will get at a bodshop

Was there paint on the splitter before u tried priming it, i know if it has been painted in the past with 2K paint, and you are priming with cellulose (from a can) it will react.

You really need to give the surface you are gonna apply paint to a really good key. Then apply a plastic primer, then a high build, then the paint, then the lacquer. The cold could be a factor as it will make the paint surface damp and stop the paint from sticking and may start to micro blister

Try getting something called Grip#4 spray this on before primering, if the surface is glossy then sand it first, then primer and sand any bumps in the primer then apply the paint, a hair dryer drys the paint really quick, Grip#4 is £12.50 from bodyshops or motor shops

^^^ By the way don't use a hair drier it'll blow all sorts of dust and shit into what you're painting

Not in your Garage, if u take the parts that yer spraying inside the house, and do it there, but if you cant do that use the normal method of using a heater, but not with a fan tho eh...

There's still dust in your house, i'd use a heater which doesn't use a fan, like an Infra red heater
