hi i'm 20 years old and am looking into putting a 2.0 16v in my corsa. What are the best insurance companies for this? and what are the prices like? i'm 21 and on my dads insurance.

If you're on your dad's, I'm guesing you aint got any no claims? This wont help..

It really isn't a good idea to go on parents insurance.... at some point your gonna get stung for your own policy with 0 no claims.

your going to struggle to get insure BIG TIME! and if you do you'll prob be looking at £2k +

i got my valver insurance thought buissness and pay £175 a year

you will find if you get insured on your dads name, when you come to insure it yourself at some point you wont be able too, insurance comanies dont tend to insure engine conversions with no no claims bonus

um insureyourmotor.com give you no claims bonus's if uve been a named driver, only up to a maximum of four years though, dont know if they any good with the prices, just remeber reading it some were

plus some people dont have a choice to other than going on there parents really well i didnt would have cost me like any were from £1000 - 2000 or something stupid like that to insure me 1.2 corsa were as im only paying £220 fully comp on me dads, true am going to get stung later on when i get me own, but i didnt have much of a choice at the moment, being a student bum and all
