Asian people enjoy these cars.

No offence, just seem to find myself getting a taxi home in them on a Saturday night.

If u r planning to mod it, have a look round at the prices of parts first
There is a big difference in prices between a Corsa & a Civic m8
But performace wise, if the coupe is anything like mine, it more than makes up for it

If you're going to buy a civic, get a twin cam. I.E any with a B series engine, or the old ZC. Import VTIs are simgle cam, you want the SIR if it's an import, prefereabbly with the LSD option.

SOHC D series Honda engines are weak, unless you can find a cheap turbo kit, as they take boost nicely.

L33t would the SOHC D series be like a civic ESI (still v-tech)?

16v but still SOHC?

Yup.

Just about every 4cyl Honda from 90+ is 16v.

Ditch - I'm not sure. They defeninately used the twin cam from the non crx vtec.

if you want the coupe shape but vti on an early one, you could get the saloon. fairly cheap and look good modded despite the extra doors.

i had a ek vti coupe which i loved. b16a is a serious engine
was just a little bland in standard trim, and they cost a mint to modify properly.

As l33t said, and to back him up all import VTI's are the equivilent to the 1.6 ESi over here, you want the SiR or SiRII on import. U don't get the B series engine's in coupes they are 4 door or hatch.
B16 is tho a legen engine it's fantastic.

Matt
