If you're under 21, that'll be why.

If you've 21+, then shop around a bit more......try places like Greenlight, Adrian Flux, or CIS.

HIC, my 1st policy at 20yrs old, 3yrs driving with no claims/convictions EVERYTHING on the car declared, cat 1 alarm etcetc. £910 TPFT

Did mine with Performace Direct. Cheapest I found.

Got quote from 1 person, rang someone else and said the quote I got from company 1 was £20 cheaper than it was, they beat it by £10.

Do the same with company 3 and company 2's quote and repeat until happy!

They have all said to me that because
vauxhall ( corsa) didn't make a 2ltr that its not on there systam as a car so they cant insure me if the car don't exsist. GUTTED.

you'd have to tell them what the base of the car is. ie. corsa sport 1.4 16v or whatever, then tell them about the engine when they ask if it's modified.

^^^ eg, it came out of a1989 Mk Astra GTE 16V. Is the C20XE lump running 150bhp standard etc.etc.
