Driving about with my neons on and was pulled over a minute ago..

But it wasn't for them.. it was the way i went over a roundabout.. ment to go round them (little dot of paint on road)

I asked him "off the record" what the score was and he said that if you cant see the bulbs there ok.. is this right or did i get a copper that didnt know shite

there a pain in the arse to go around.... wants the point of them some time i dont know... the little white dot in the road...

i also got pulled and asked this question,, the copper told me that they were legal aslong as you couldnt see the tubes and you didnt have flickering blue or red.. everything else was peachy!!

i got told DONT QUOTE ME ON THIS THOUGH that if the bulb was not visable just the light coming off them its ok its just when u can acctually see the bulb

There are certain colours of light you can't display anyhwere like blue, and certain colours that you can't display to the rear of the vehicle - white being one unless you're in reverse.

the offical line is, if you cant see the tube they are ok as they are classed as a glow, and no a light.

if you can see the tube you have to have certain colours on front, sides and rear

yes, didnt know about not being allowed blue, but it makes sence. blue = emergency services.

Neons where you can see the tube are plain GASH!!!

Neons are gash also but not as gash as when the bulbs are hanging from the bottom of the car............
