i just usually use back to black, doesnt last very long tho if it rains

When my bumpers were black........... many moons ago.... i used some sort of black liquidy polish stuff.

Basically put the stuff on, leave it for a few minutes then buff it.

Lasted considerably longer than back to black aswell.

I use autoglym bumper gel and works a treat..make sure it is rubbed in well..

check it...

only taken on sunday there....

thats black.

use the shoe polish that comes in the little bottle with the sponge on top - you'll be amazed at the outcome

Bumper and Trim polish i think it's called. That what i use on mine anyway. Comes in a black bottle, and is about £4 for Halfords like you said. Miles better than Back to black, as you can just slap it on, and dont have to worry about getting it on your paintwork, as it'll polish that too . Also takes a good few washes to fade .

Funny enough, Vegitable oil works, just rub it in after a wash, my mate told me this and i laughed it off, but then i used it, he laughed at me.

can of black in a flash mate, dont rub it off the arches tho just spray it on them and leave it, works a treat

once ive cleaned my bumper trim and side strips i spray with dash shine its only cheap crap from the pound shop but works a treat on keepin the shine to the polish and holding off the rain

Don't EVER use polish PMSL my mate convinced me to do this, it fucked my arches gud n proper
