i can't open internet explorer any more i'm using RealOne Player to get on ere lol every time i click to go on explorer i get a box pop up with the following msg:
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

i click to view more about the error and i get this in another box:

Winshow is some kind of dodgy virus kinda thing... check out the link below, it kinda tells you what you might need to do in order to possibly eliminate it if you do have it....

i ran a virus scan n aint found nothin, but i'll try the link i'll report back when i've attempted it too

it's not a virus really, it's a browser hijacker, changes your home page and sends data back to a main server, as detailed in the link above, tells you what you need to delete in order to remove it, it says also that it might cause some errors, and trigger the M$ Error reporting tool.

remove IE and re-install it , should clear it.

sorted  cheers mate, one minute it was workin fine, then i closed explorer n then it wudn't open again

use somekind of adware killer, i recomend spy bot seach and distroy

I recommend Ad-Aware... 100% free ware... gets rid of most things, auto updated over the net too to include new spyware

i already ran them n it didn't get rid of it also tried system restore to the day before n that didn't work either, but the pestpatrol website thing worked
