Hi Peeps
Need help hear my bonnet is smooth at with bad boy bonnet and extension its very tight to front bumper like i got a delta evo front and there aint a lot of air vents for heat to go out, as u can see by back this is wat i got extacly with out the vent at mo, I got a 1.2 8v i want to sort out this problem b4 i do damge to engine in anyway!!!
1. Have Vent for air to flow out & 2 pipes from the raditor too mesh down bottom so it can breathe
2.No vent keep it smooth and 2 pipes from raditor too mesh down the bottom so it can breathe
3. No vent and no pipes???
4. Just vent
Please help me guys asap cheers

wire your fan up too a switch so you can manually turn it on to keep rad cool.

Has the meshed part got a gap through it?

yeh man that is gap thats why mesh over it please stick too the numbers i put up ttt ok guys so i dont get mixed up???

It depends whether you plan on fitting a bigger engine or want a vent anyway for styling purposes.

dude dont want bigger engine or anything, just need to know wat i need to do for air to get in to engine bay coz i aint got vent in bonnet or much vents on bumper as u can see on pic some 1 told me a nice cold air feed into engine bay shud do it without the fusss over a vent???

Where do you think the air that goes through the front bumper goes? Into the engine bay....how will a feed change that?
I'd put a sealed pipe from airbox to just behind the gap in the bumper for performance, but you only need to get air into the radiator for cooling purposes.

shouldnt affect the engine overheating mate well it never did in mine. and also the honda civic has same set up with no probs. id start looking at the engine itsself

adam mate i know u got same bumper as me anything i need to do to it coz i want to keep bonnet the same smoothwithout vent so nothing to worry abt is it matey??? just slam kit on thats it???

you need more air to the radiator. I would have not covered up the hole to begin with.

I dont know on post97 corsas but on pre97 corsas, except on GSi, the OE bumper grille is BLOCKED off anyway. So what difference will it had made if i was to keep my OE bumper or the grilleless Delta bumper?
