My 1.4 ecotec did approximately 120 miles last year. IT COST ME 5 ENGINES!

mines done nearly 120k (albeit a full vauxhall 3k rebuild at 30k) and its still going well, tis a gsi by the way

tho i have had to replace the oli valve stem sills, tis about the only major thing ive had to replace

u change the cam belt/rollers/oil/oil filter just like any other car and it will go well for ages

my sport has done 116000 miles and things are starting to go wrong now, so if any 1 wants to buy it for the 2ltr conversion would make my day.

mines done 145,000 only things i have ever changed are starter motor, alternator and battery!!! well other than normal service item.
80k is nothing for a modern engine.
