Okay, I've pulled the lever to pop the bonnet but nothings happening. Can nearly hear it clicking and sounds like it needs to be pulled a lot further. It's as if it's seized up somewhere. Any advice.
Cheers people.

to fix it just get some grease and greasy the latch up then tighten the cable up, to do this you need to undo a small metal clip by the latch, pull some cable thru it, only about 2mm! and tighten it up again, itll make sence when u see it! but try it with lodsa grease first

you may need to adjust the spring lock bit, you can tighten it or loosen it by screwing it in or out.
this determins how high the bonnet sits when shut, if mine is just half a turn to tight it wont open.

My bonnet did this when i first got the car.
If i pulled the handle as far as i could so the handle is almost bending under the force it would just about pop open.
Once open you can loosen a bolt that clamps the outer cable and pull more of it through to make it tighter.
As long as you can get the bonnet open its an easy fix.
