Right my girlfriends mother has bought a cheapy light fitting for the landing from argos. Obviously she chose the hard one to wire up and not the easy fit ones she could have bought   anyway....
At the moment she has a ceiling rose on the landing and i thought the new light fitting would be the same wiring as the old one, live and neutral coming off either side of the ceiling rose and an earth from the ceiling rose into the light.
This new light she bought has a kind of connection box. Live neutral and earth coming from the light and is connected to this connection box. How would you connect this light to the ceiling rose.
Might take out this connection box and wire the light straight to the ceiling rose, but i dont wanna break her light fitting
