went in to get a quote for a Corsa B GSi rear spoiler and a GSi front bumper, he goes the spoiler is £179 no sprayin or fittin incl. Then the bumper £279 without fogs  i was like ok then i'll get back to you 
they are total rip offs

yes that price is correct, its that price cos the gsi was only made for a couple of years so there isnt actually many of them about, plus its plastic and a very good fit, people dont complain about spending £300 on a crappy fibreglass bumper that doesnt fit properly.

right, lets set the record straight, on the whole, genuine manufacture parts are expensive, and yes, sometimes they do seem a bit expensive, but bumpers and spoilers cost huge amounts of money to tool up for, a meduim sized front bumper, like the corsa GSi would cost around £250,000 to manufacture a mould for, so that would mean, just to cover the cost of the FRONT bumper tool, Vauxhall would need to sell 900 units! I fully agree with Kris TD, for instance, the Kingdom Intruder front for the corsa B is around the £300 mark, Ive spoken to poeple who have fitted these and they are appauling! and these cost around £600 to tool up for. who's ripping you off!!

I can do you the GSi front for £214+ vat, no real saving on RRP im affraid. Im in Nottinghamshire. GSi lamps go for £45.50 each + vat

I used to be in the tool making industry and I know what goes into a production mould and its weeks of work, I work for McLaren now, but yes, I used to work for a Vauxhall dealer. I just pisses me off when I see people paying over the odds for inferior quality crap that looks good but fit and finish is terrible, when a GSi front bumper will fit perfectly.
I'm not having a moan, Its just a subject I feel very strongly about.
I also didnt mean to disrespect Kingdom Developments, I have the utmost respect for what they have done, it was just an example.
