Ive got a 1.4 8v Corsa SRi and just wondered if this will have more power than my mates 1.4 8v Flair? Isn't mine a multi point injection engine, and his a single point? Also is my engine the same as in the Nova SRi 1.4? Will a Nova be faster?

Its on parkers as

1.4 8v Flair - 60bhp
1.4 8v SRi - 90bhp
Nova: 1.4 8v Sri - 82bhp

But Novas are sh*te! O well, at least i can keep telling myself that when im being done by a local KEV driving one with his neon washer jets!

imo 1.4 sr wud be the same yeah novas are lighter but sri's got more power

not completely up todate with nova but heard the 1.3 sr was faster than the 1.4 sr and was faster than the nova sri's?

only novas that have beaten me are the gte's and that was close. Theres loads of sri's and sr's around hereford but dont really take much notice what they are

the 8v sri is 82 bhp the 16v sri is 90bhp

Raced a couple of SRi Novas in my SRi 8v Corsa, theres not much in it, depends how quick you can get through the gears and round the corners, it not very often I loose!
