What sort of power is it putting down? Be guessing around 120-130bhp

Well It wasn't tested yet but we expect something in that range or a little bit below (not much hopefully ) because it is a 1000 cc car. It has an Audi/Golf intercooler, an extra injector from a Kadett 1.8 and it burns pump alcohol. Plus 17 in wheels, lowered suspension, MOMO steering wheel and the turbo kit is all custom.
We'll try to post more pictures as soon as possible.
Oh, one more thing: The 5 doors are pretty "cool" here... Even our Astra GSI is only available with 5 doors...
So people won't look down on the 5 door models less than they would on 3 doors... But it is still a lot of fun to run over some beigger guys with an 1.0 liter

thought it was a 1.2 or a 1.4, I forgot the 1ltr's are also 4cyl in brasil & not just 3cyl!
Just a thought though, if your after better times, try running it on a set of 15's, or have you already got a set for just track/strip use? (thats if you do track/strip days)

The car isn't rolling yet. The compression ratio was so high, even for alcoohol use, that we decided to do something about it before start to use it like it should be used... But we had eventually ridden it and the very close ratio gearbox put so many torque to the ground that it seems it will work very well with the 17s. A lot of smoke really...
We plan to test it with lightweight 16s with smaller tires and eventually with 15s too. But that option will demand "r compound" tyres.

Well, that might be true in other places. Here high octane pump (98) gas costs more than twice as much as pump alcohol. In fact all brazilian petrol has 25% of alcohol in its formula.
And alcohol can be compressed much more than gasoline.
Most fast cars in Brazil burn alcohol!
