1998 onwards JDM imports are the only ones with OPTIONAL HID's

As for the imports not going as well as UK spec, not true... The imports have higher compression, better flowing exhaust manifold etc. An import on optimax will be pushing 195bhp+ whereas a UK spec around 187bhp.

Mines a UK spec, and i'd sell for the right offer

55k miles FHSH, T plate 1999 so later spec MOMO wheel etc.

Can sell it standard or with mods, if I got £9k for it id let it go.

ITs in the best colour as well - Championship white

At the moment its running:

5Zigen fireball cat back, decat, coilovers, 17" lightweight wheels (choice of wheels - I have 4 sets to choose from inc standard)
S2k Aerial conversion, Carbon fibre bonnet etc etc.

All standard parts available.

Im only thinking of selling due to DC5R coming up

oh and the square lights are the imports..

If you see an import with the UK style lights, then it aint a Type R

If your going for an import, definatly go for a 98 spec one..

the 98 spec has 5 stud wheels, 16's optional HID's, better exhuast manifold, and revised suspension..

The earlier (96-96) had 4 stud 15's, and a part cast, part tubular manifold.

I just think i may be able to just get you one. they've been around 3 or so year's now in japan. Find out from your insurance company how much to insure you on one, then we can decide whether to go ahead or not.
