You start with 75 bhp if your cars like most 1.2 16v's (ask most people who have had their 1.2 16vs rolling roaded on the site what they got and its 75-80)...
the only guy I know who has had this is blackula and he got 105 bhp on the dyno with standard exhaust...
so with cat back or decat as well you should see over 110 bhp.
thing is dropping a new engine in is all well and good - however, A) if your 1.2 16v Sxi is low mileage, why would you want to lose that and chuck in a banger of a 80k mileage 1.6 engine...
Ok you can get it lower mileage or reconditioned but now we're not talking about the same costs!
Secondly there's insurance, most companies only charge 5-10 % for engine mods. If your relatively young (main reason people go for a 1.2 16v rather than a 1.4 16v or a 1.6 in the first place) - then insurance is a bitch and you will get a silly quote on a 1.6 engine converted car!!!
Houkham where can you get it for £600 though?

P.S. I feel if the price was on level with velos torque tube / manztel power boxes (i.e. £300 ish quid) I'd be recommending it
as with the high cost atm - I'd say if you can afford the insurance drop a bigger engine in.

ive already had a c16xe in but didnt delcare it-the lump is in a nova sri now awaiting throttlebodies, id like a sport lump but I also like the idea of flying around quickly and then telling peeps it is in fact a 1200! I read about the bhp being high, but low on torque, how would this affect performance?
