got caught speeding today doing 53 in a 30 zone im waitng for a letter of summons what penalty do people think i will get

its known that if u do more than 50% of the speed limit, ie. 45 ina 30 u get 6 points and if u in ur 2yrs of driving is a loss of license but i know peeps who get away with jst the 3 points and 60quid fine.

well my mate did 88 in a 50 and got 3 month ban and a fine cant remeber fine tho

u jst have to wait for the letter i suppose, but dnt be surprised if you get 6 points summat. but then u go court over it and end up with jst the 5 points cos u blag em about how u need ur car for work and that.

forget about the insuranc emate. i got 6points and am currently back as a learner. i got my renewal last month and i ahd to pay a total of 50quid extra

cos i got 6points for speeding and then red light. so they took my license off me so i ahve to start everything again, including theory even had to send of for my licenses again, takes the piss really

you shoudl get 6 points for speeding liek that, but if you do jst take it to court and see if u can only get 5 points. ull be lucky if u only get 3 tho

u are still in ur first 2yrs of driving ye?

it was on a tripod and he pulled me over and showed me all the readings the fuckers. but i should not drive at that speed anyway
