if a 1000 mf 25v capacitor is needed, is a 1000mf 100v one ok? although it is very big in size
just i have one spare.

if it is one of the black plastic ones, hold it so your looking at the top and it is a 'D' shape. The top pin is the collector, the middle is the base, and the bottom is the emitter.
