Amps are wired to the remote on the back of the stereo so when the stereo turns on so does the amp.............so could the positive on a neon be wired to the remote on the amp so that when the stereo comes on the neon does?
Will this work?

shit i wrote that wrong.........i mean could you put the positive wire on the neon to the back of the stereo where the remote lead connects.
What it is, is my gf has a neon surround for her stereo and she only wants it to come on when her stereo does.
help please
