When i click shutdown on my computer (xp) it just restarts!!!!! wats up with it?!

mine does that with 2000 too

but then again - i never shut down pc anyway

It's a feature with all Windows operating systems post 98. For some reason Microsoft decided it was acceptable to sell software that didn't work correctly. At least you can just turn off once it has shut down, before it re-starts... Unlike on one of my PC's where the shut down sequence just stops and you get a black screen...

i never broke it. its just that i tried turning it off for the 1st time last nite and it just rebotted!
