Just got some new 17" alloys and the re wheels rub on the arches over bumps and dips in the road.
Whats the best way to get around them scrapping?

if ur feelin brave enough, you and knock the metal arch outwards so ur wheel goes up under the arch, personally tho id want a professional job done 2 be safer. Also take out your arch bolts especially the middle bolt, n bond the arch back on with tigerseal

i hve this problem with 17's, so 2day i hammered the edge of the metal arch shown on the pic into the plastic arch and used a rubber mallet 2 wack back the top of the inner arch, i then took my springs out the rear, lowered the car down on the dampers only, the arches were sittin 1/4 of the way down the actuall alloy wheel and it still didnt rub so gonna get sum coilovers now and drop it at least 100mm at the back

I have trouble with 15s on mine, coz the lame *sses at the tyre place put 50pros on mine and its been lowered 60mm. but because of their silly mistake I get free tyres when they need replacing haha!
Doesn't the rust get in if u do it with a saw? like that pic above/\ /\ /\
