Right, my 2pence worth.
Southend is always a good meeting point, good laughs to be had by all. Bluewater meet finished by bowling sounds wicked fun, could be a great chance to meet everyone properly. Think about it : You go to a meet, groups form, people talk in their groups and not everyone meets everyone. Bowling in a large group form would introduce everyone together in a smaller, closed environment with more of a chance to get to know others properly. could try and negotiate a disount at bowling alley and maybe even open it up to other regions. Could be great fun, plenty of pics, partners welcome etc. Id be well up for that!!!!!!!

Also :
Southend is a regular meeting place for a lot of us week in week out anyway and it is hard to get everyone together down there as parking is normally a bitch.
Going out and getting pissed : Id have to go against this one, the south east is a big area and people wanting to attend may have to drive there and home again so it rules people out or encourages a bit of drink driving which can only make us look bad.
However : Southend meet with a trip to the lapdancing club could be good All meet up early on, have a chat, few pics etc etc wander round, couple of lapdances, good old laugh

Well if anybody drink drives i'll personally kick the shit out of them.
i whacked my best mate last week for doing it and got no hesitation to do it to a stranger.
i always go off on one over this but i lost a mate recently thru it.

Yes, hence why i think going out for a piss up isnt a good idea. Its all very well saying 'get a B&B/hotel etc but that adds cost, which reduces numbers attending. Considering all this, i feel our organisers would end up wasting their time.

Well we can always have a bluewater meet then cruise to southend after, which has been mentioned!!
As for going out? Lap dancing club sounds good, but if i was to go out in southend i would just drink coke anyway, as it makes me very hyper!!!
