What effect would an aftermarket exhaust have on a 306 d turbo? Would it produce a decent sound or just enhance the diesel rattle?

Hardly any sound difference or performance gains on these engines.

I've got a full straight thru system from the turbo back, only box being Piper back box.

Power wise.....1-2bhp max.

Most people dont bother with a full zaust on these. Only reason i did, was coz the other one was rotten to fcuk. Just go for a decent quality back box so it looks smart, and u get a tiny bit of a burble.

well does on a corsa td anyway. turbo back will, getting a biger bore as standard bore strangles the turbo.
matty you got the down pipe too then?

get a custom made 2 1/2 inch bore

yeah i know on corsa TD zaust makes a diff.........i've heard ur zaust roar!

Mine is turbo back. Turbo on the 306 is right at bottom of down pipe....it acts as the join between the down pipe, and rest of zaust.

Mine is a custom straight thru jobbie, but to be honest, dunno wot bore. Think its pretty much same size as OE pipe.
