But I need to know wen u press eject does the face just flip down like pioneer or does it all slide around cos of the facia adaptor in the fiat it wont fit if it does slide down...

Please let me know ASAP

It slides bottom out first and ends up with the front facing up

It never did on my old 7874 RB mate just came off!

Well I had a 7894RB, now have a 9812RB and both motorised fronts flip the same way so I would assume not mate

I think it flips downwards at 3 diff angles.

my mate has the adaptor for the new punto and its fitted a number of HU no probs He had a jvc flip down job (facia unhooks at the top and goes forward) and hes had a sony that spins arounds and has also had a kenny that spins around. And they all fitted perfectly

Get in pauline wack it in, and if it dont work sell it, get a different sort

I think it flips outwards more than it does downwards. Might be ok thinking about it

true pauline, you wouldnt beable to see the button properly.
however, heres a pick of the HU area -



so yea it would fit, but you wouldnt see the facia when its out Just get a decent single facia'ed HU and wack that it, solved

sorry boss, im talking about the silver pioneer you wouldnt see the button properly when the facia flips out, but thats because that HU was designed for cars that have a lower headunit mounting position, like corsa's etc.

As for the alpine, havnt got a clue, but it should work mate

it doesnt drop down m8, it shud fit fine, it just comes out and goes flat, it doesnt go below the bottom of the unit.
