gud luck mate - gettin my application sorted 2moz - wanted 2 wait till i got my alloys paid off as u hav 2 declare any money owed out :S - specials is unpaid but gives u the edge when the do take ppl on - who r they most likely 2 choose -sum1 who wants 2 join from the start or sum1 who has basic training and has already been doing police work? hope it works out 4 ya mate

pay depends on area around 16,000-18,000 per year but in the met think its as high as 22,000 - training is 4 six weeks in my area - followed by 2 years on probation having reports taken on ur work etc

Well done though mate, ive always thought about doing it, mainly for the money, but the cops are hated around here, although they assign you to a different county than the one you live in so might not be that bad!
