sorry to bother you lot again with pc help but...

I've got a video out cable to connect a tv to my graphics card. I've connected the cable up but what settings do i need to adjust so that the tv is now the monitor display unit? I've looked all around display in the control panel and couldn't find what i wanted.

NO i need to adjust the settings on the pc to send the picture out through the video out socket on the graphics card to the TV. How the heck do i do this?

go to the control panel..... display properties... then the setting tab... click the advanced button... the setting are usually in there....

oooh i was playing about for ages in the display tab where i thought it would be. But to no luck. Restarted the computer and it suddenly popped on. It obviously does it autmoatically!
