What a pain in the arse!!

On the way down there the engine management light came on. Put it on the rolling road and was told that the car was running way to lean to do any kind of mapping on it. Was told that the air mass sensor is fucked and needs replacing, then I can take it back to get mapped.

To make matters worse, I then see another Astra come out after mapping with 264bhp and 277lb/ft.

Apparently there was a split in my piper cone and was sucking in too much air and has fucked the air mass sensor. Got to get that replaced, then will probably go back to the original airbox and a performance panel. Fuck knows how much that'll cost, not much I hope. Power was well down because of this. 178bhp and 199lb/ft.

I'm running standard map at the moment. My CS software had to be wiped before AmD could do any mapping on the car. Also it's not the split cone that's causing the power loss it's the knackered air mass sensor thats broken because of it. And the power loss isn't 60bhp it's more like 11bhp.
