Not quite...its a BA Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo (or XR6T)
The TE50 was different again. They dont make that anymore, and when they did, it was built by tickford.

Yes, TE was based on AU model falcon, the new shape is called the BA falcon. The XR6 and XR8 are sport versions of the standard falcon. FPV/Tickford are the high performance version. Same as BMW 330i Sport and apposed to M3. One is hotted up, one is completely gone over by the in house motorsport division. This is also what HSV is to Holden. They are talking about making a HSV Astra Turbo over here. Now that would be nice.
