Right i brought the crappiest of the crap £200 streetline bilstein kit. Shox and springs.
They have done about 25,000 on the car since new. Now when i got them they were shit but better than my previous Pi springs and standard shox! Bouncy!
Anyway recently i have noticed a few things, there has been clunking noises appearing from the rear end. on both sides more pronounced when i am carrying passengers in the rear. I use ET45 7x17" wheels and rubbing has never been a problem unless 3 up on a bumpy road, but now, only 1 up on a small bump will set it off, rubbing is REALLY bad when i have more than 3 people in my car
Also its always been a crashy ride but now it seems to wobble and wallow not hugely but it really seems to have lost "tension" in the setup. Its getting worse and worse to drive. I think i may just be imagining it cos im thinking about it when i drive mroe and may have just ignored it but i swear its never been this bad. Also the "rattling" from the rear has gotten louder too and the fronts seem to rattle a small amount too, is my setup completely fucked? Or is it just shit as i thought and i just have never noticed??
Any help appreciated :thumbs

Sounds like your rear shox have gone. The springs will live much longer.

I heard u would??
Anyway billy shox and springs are meant to be excellent. And koni's are adjustable dampning. Not bothered about ride height or nout.
Coilovers a muccho xpensive too. And im gunna be spending enough on my car in next 3months!
