alarms seem to have mooved on since i got mine, i payed £450 for a concept 300 + exterior proximity sensor fitted at a vsib fitter.
If you ask me its not worth paying for the giher cliffords as if someone is going to nick your car they will.
A CAT1 gets you money off insurance, remote central locking and a decent enough system to deter pykies with no brains.
Exterior proximity sensor is annoying but very usefull

depends what you want from your alarm mate.
I got mine for insurance, peice of mind, remote central locking, proximity sensor. andd the add ons.
Im having my doors and boot flushed and im having solenoids fitted to my car which means my doors and boot will be remote operated
Not heard of the concept 450, cat1 is highest btw

ye i know cat 1 is highest, it aint cat approved because the "brain" of the system isnt in a metal case, but ithas more faetures.
i want my boot delocked and doors delocked so i will need the alarm to protect my 2grand sound system, remotl locking and opening the boot like urs, also money off insurance iff possible.

Glass breaking is already there, as when something moves inside car ie broken galss it will trip interior sensors and microwave just beeps when people get close so tilt and shock are better option IMO
