"modified" the vaux plug (well jus removed the mfd bit) and fitted all works well then i do a final fit works well again... then the sound jus stops? everythin still works cept it aint putting sound out any ideas??

checked the fuse's too its fine and all connections are good

Maybe the speaker connector on the ISO plug has come loose? Take it out and double check.

If its all in ok, faulty headunit. Must go back home.

well it happened as i was turning it up so maybe the internal amp?

lol its not worth fuck all so shall be going to the bin till i get this alpine unit!!

is there supposed to be a seperate earth running from the HU to a bare point on the car? or are all cables needed running from my plug including the earth?
