Hi there,
Would the above in the title be relatively difficult to do ?
I take it that with the smooth boot panel (available on ebay) would fit straight on , with some expanding foam in the recess etc , and then joined with "tigerseal" ? Then all gaps filled up ?
That seems quite straightforward , but colour coding handles , bumpers and smooth boot panel , I am guessing would be quite difficult (with aerosol cans) ?
Have any of you carried out any of this work your self ? If so , how did you do it , what were the reults like and do you have any pics ?
It would obviously be best left to the pros , but with a bit of time and patience it could be done right ?
Cheers
Gregor

Smooth boots are best left to pros IMO and expanding foam is not ideal way to do it most bodyshops weld a plate over the recess then skim with body filler and paint. As for colour coding handles ect, it can be done really well DIY if you take you time. I wouldnt attempt a bumper or similar with rattle cans tho

welding plates, is better than a boot panel imo.

Have to agree. Worth paying for a proper job. Around £200 at most bodyshops
