Bit of an odd question, but wondered how much weight i can save by binning the standard seats in favour of something else.
Its a 1996 sport, think they had different seats to merits etc.

they are pretty heavy mate, save ya pennies and get something like corbra evolutions or corbeau revolutions..
i had a pair of revolutions and they weighed in at 6kg each
ya looking at about 15-20kg for a standard seat (i think)

Yes, they are very heavy. You would save around 15kgs per seat if you swapped them for something lighter

my seats weigh 5.5 kg each
total of 11kg compared to around 35kg
