recently i cant log onto any web pages it comes up it cant be found etc also msn does not work etc

very odd ocassion it does...

the computer has also created a user account etc but im the only one who's ever used it??

virus scanners show up nothing..

also odd time it cant do any tasks at all as it says theres no memory 2 do so.. balls there aint!

also it seems 2 remove folders temporarely if i went to start--->all programs it wud cum up with Empty

proper head frying

iv made backup cd's now if i need to how do i format it? and keep my mp3's etc?

sounds more-like some sort of trojan which has got in your pc & isnt being picked up by your AV.

try installing a firewall such as norton internet security & see if that helps things going crazy!

Also load up regedit, and goto

HKEY_LOCALMACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run

see if there is anything in there which shouldt be or any prorams you dont recognise

the "run" bit is that a list of what programs start when turned on?

or if you go into run and type "msconfig" and click the startup tab get rid of anything that you dont use or dont recognise, you will be able to get rid of it all and your computer should still operate normally
