I waxed it - fair enough, then thought - engine bay looks a mess - I know I'll clean that - before long it was up on jacks, Ive cleaned and waxoyled the bottom - dropped the oil out and put fresh in - changed rocker cover gasket ( had one spare so thought I would)

then I started on the inside - took out ice and seats and cleaned under everything

all this when I wa sonyl gonna give her a 2 minute wash and dry

and I still havnt finished

Would have looked better if the bumper and side skirts were sprayed the same colour as the rest of the car and not some bodge job.

it is all same colour -light on the camera is bad - it had full external respray when it went in - every external panel was painted at teh same time - so in theory n oit isnt different colours - although a few people have said that about it in pictures-its not like that in the flesh

not stupid - I see what he means - the pictures do show a real difference but I think its the camera

However it was done by one of the top local bodyshops - the same place that did stubbsys and Jaffas (now shrews corsa) both have had big mag features and people rave about those two. The paint is perfect up close

The paint colour is probably down to the primer. obviously when new bits went on, the were primed with the bodyshop's primer, whereas the cars' will be from Vx.

Looking Good mate
