As mentioned in exhaust post, got Y reg Corsa C comfort as new project, got car very cheap and low mileage. Impressed by 1.2 except its doesnt have any power over 5500 rpm, and it aint no 2.0. Gotta be about as faster as my Sri 1.4 mpi was after a few miles though.
Started to take my old Corsa to bits and will ebay the bits. If the Red Top motor doesnt fit will be selling that too.
So far on the C, until I can shoehorn in a larger lump, have ,
Bought K&n panel filter
drilled penny sized holes in air box
stripped lots of weight out
taken off wheeltrims (!!!)
put in some Bosch plugs
changed oil
timed it std with a gtech to 60 mph in 11.6 secs
now I got 10.2 dead
I'm shocked !
