130 and 150 pd gti are the only ones i would have, MD has a V10 diesel, said he gets about 25mpg, which is pointless imo

Both are pitifully slow for the money - you could have much more fun for much less cash elsewhere. Also, don't be sucked in by this "VW quality/reliability" garbage. I've owned 2 VWs and they were the most unreliable cars I've ever had - never again

Isn't Polo like 1200 kg or something for the Gti ?
Heavy car, for a small car, is that makes sense.

For comparison a Saxo VTS is about 935 kg (roughly) and the a Corsa Sri 1.8 just over a ton.

i don't think 106 GTI is fair superiour. Yeah its quick but its build quality is shite and the interior dash look tacky
TTT
Looking more like a POLO but they are quite expensive

well my best m8 has a polo gti, has a cat back exhaust system and i think its nippy, the power is very smooth. they hit 60 in 8.7 i think, but then again thats meant to be with 2 ppl and half luggage accordin 2 vw.

as for build quality, id say its good, as my m8 has taken almost the whole dash out, hes taken most the car apart for his ice instal, and he says the build quality is good (he knows his stuff )

i ahve learnt this is now true

So wasn't the weird occurance of the G-Ladder enough? Or did they just forget about them? Seen a corrad G60 which aparently beat a skyline on speed. She just kept going, needless to say he bowed down and kissed her feet (yes that's right it was a woman driver :thumbs

You could easily chip the top end 1.9TDi 's to 150bhp.
