What are your opinions on Sony Vaio and Toshiba Satellite laptops?
I'm going to be buying a laptop very soon and have been looking at the Sony Vaio PCG-K115Z and the Toshiba Satellite A30-151

Please check the specs out by clicking the links in bold and give your opinions on both.
Any suggestions of other similar laptops would also be great.
Thanks.

Really depends what you're going to use it for, but to be honest, I'd never buy a laptop brand new...

Depends it's going to be your main computer, but if you bought a factory refurb or one a year old you could get a pretty decent machine for half the price...

i reckon the sony would be faster 30-60 but the Toshiba would have it easy 60-100.

The samsung looks gorgeous must admit, is the thinnest laptop in Currys (where i work ) and it looks great, don't know how good it will be though to be honest, I'd imagine the Vaio will be better, more expensive generally tho

Thanks, yeah I like both too, dunno what to choose. I think the final decider will be price. Looking for good deals and hopefully buy at the weekend or early next week Vaio is still first choice tho.
