of those 2 the RE, as said make sure its powered rite, im running a 12 W3V2 with a alpine mono block and an alpine 4 channel and i get serious dimmage, need a better alt, 2nd battery and a cap really.

As ya no Adi i hav 2 W3's of an RF mono block aswell as a 4channel amp for ma speakers.
Uprated ma battery and got a cap but i cud really do with an uprated alternator because my lights seriously dim and flicker aswell.
Funny watchin them dim when the bass hits down dark rds tho, lol. Mayb thats just me, hehe!!

Im running 2 W3s off Pheonix GolD mono block and Pheonix Gold 4 channel with yellow top and 1.2 farad cap and i really need an alty aswell!

DC, what you uprated the battery to? is it a deep cycle one? might be worth putting the uprated one in the boot, put your standard one back into the stock position and run a split charging system

Its the baby RF mono block Adi, 500.1Bd. Cetificate for 719rms so its not 2 bad a match for 2 W3's really.
Not sure on ma battery 2 b honest. I bought it from ma local ice shop bout 18months ago cos ma old battery wud go flat if i left ma system on for lik 30 secs with the engine off, lol.
I was thinkin bout runnin a split charging system with a really decent battery a bit ago, i posted askin what it involved but got no replies, lol.
Is it a big job then? Havent really got any room left in ma boot tho, cud b a problem!!
As for alternators what do ppl recommend CheekyCorsa and i shud upgrade to?

all you really need is a second battery and a relay if you already have decent sized cables
drop me a u2u if you want any more info mate, gonna wire mine up some time this week hopefully if all my wires and fuses etc arrive early this week
it's going in a xsara, but everything is the same so i'll take plenty of photos and do a decent write up for FAQ's as a few people seem to want to know how to do it
