ok, ive got a Kenwood 1000w mono-amp (with Farad power cap) and ;
- Sony 1200w hexagon Sub
- Kenwood 1000w DB+ Sub
which would give optimum performance?
im thinking sony coz its more power, but kenwood coz the amps the same make?

makes of stuff doesnt mean anything, has to be set up rite and running at the same ohm

iv got different makes of stereo in my car, kenwood, focal, pheonix gold, legacy,infinity,sony and jl. as long as running 2ohm stable and like greg said set it up right it'll sound ok. when you see figures stating db you gotta start thinking about your sound pressure levels and unless your mega serious about your installs dont let figures baffle you.
