has anyone else had this problem? Sometimes it's ok, but others, the revs are dropping really low and then having to bounce back high to stop it stalling!!
Also, once really warm and driven a few miles, the revs sit at about 2000 rpm and fall really slowly from where ever they were when you went to change gear.............................
It is getting annoying!!!
One last thing.......................
When driven slowly, it drives pretty well, but of you give it any sh*t, it is almost as if it is mis firing, till you back off again! then it'll be fine and do it again later!
(feels like it does when head gasket has gone, just doesn't do it all the time!!)
Help!

try cleaning the idle speed control valve.
i read the other day that someone was having idling problems due to poor connection on th earth straps too. might be worth looking at.
unlikely in this weather, but could have been coolant temp sensor not telling it to 'choke'.
you read diagnostic codes?

its the idle control valve mate, there under the inlet manifold will probably need a new one as they tend to cease on vauxhalls

I can't hold mine on the clutch when it's warm, you have to give it a little gas. Also when it's warm and u leave it for 30 mins or so (still warm) you have to give it gas to start it up.
