is it on 24hours or only when the engine is runnig? like a remote live for stereo?

I only put mine in for shows etc. and plugs into fag lighter

They all come with fag lighter connections, so the only run when your ignitions on. I spose you could hardwire it to the battery and this would run constantly - but that would run your battery down.

they use about 50-60w so not ideal when the engine isnt running...
